Lavender Grey Tea

Artisan: Lavender Hill Farm
Made In: Traverse City, Michigan
Cause: The Watershed Center at Grand Traverse Bay

[TRAVERSE CITY] This fragrant and flavorful Lavender Grey Tea is made with organically grown black tea from Great Lakes Tea and Spice in Glen Arbor, Michigan, and Lavender Hill Farms' naturally grown and chemical-free lavender, it's a refreshing and relaxing beverage hot or cold.

The benefits of lavender are legion--it's been credited with improving anxiety and depression, hair loss, digestive issues and insomnia. It even has antiseptic properties.

But we really love it because it smells darn pretty. And it tastes good, too. (Did you know you can consume lavender? It makes a tasty tea, a great meat rub and amazing cookies.)

Grown without sprays, pesticides or herbicides, this lavender from Lavender Hill Farms in Boyne City, Michigan, just east of Traverse City is a soothing treat for the senses. 1.4 oz.

A shoutout to Crooked Tree Breadworks owner and chief baker Greg Carpenter in Petoskey, whom we met while hiking in the Upper Peninsula and who referred us to the source of the lavender for his delicious cookies!
