[NASHVILLE] Hot chicken. It’s SO FUN to say, y’all! Try it with gusto: HOOOOOT chicken!!! Doesn’t that make you smile? This T-shirt is quirky. And it’s oh-so-soft—you’ll wanna wear it all the time.
Best of all, the guys who screen-printed this T-shirt are guys getting back on their feet. After being homeless for whatever reason, they found their way to Set Free Church in Nashville and committed to a new way of life.
Right next door is Project 615, a social enterprise where they make custom-printed T-shirts for all kinds of businesses and where they make a line of specialty tees for which the proceeds go directly to Set Free Church. Not only do they support Set Free Church financially with their own line of T-shirts, but they also hire some of the men there who are ready to get some job training and step out on their own.
Derek and Matt, the guys who started Project 615, are really cool. We got the chance to meet with them and learn the why and how of what they do what they do. Come along with us and learn how this quirky, fun T-shirt came to be.
