If you're a little bit of a neat freak like me, then trying to stay organized amid piles of gear crammed into a living space staked into dirt can make you half crazy. So I was pretty proud of myself for coming up with this one:
Tent Camping Tip: Stacking Stuff
While pondering some kind of portable shelving to manage the usual heap of clothes and toiletries in our nylon living room-slash-bedroom for the week (and eyeing the already overloaded Jeep), I struck upon our folding step stool.
Jackpot! It's lightweight. It folds up flat. And it provides three shelves for our clothes, knicks and knacks, plus a handle-turned-towel holder. Add some little bungee cords on which to hang a trash bag and other things with hooks, and we had ourselves a tent organization system to make MacGyver proud.
Have you come up with another tent camping tip for stacking stuff? Tell us in the comments. (Because we're a little obsessive like that!)
